Recipe – Green Beans and Tomatoes

15 Minutes to Prepare and Cook … Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients:
1 and 1/2 pounds (680 grams) fresh Green Beans
Six medium Tomatoes (about 26 ounces or 740 grams)
1/3 cup Olive Oil
3 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
4 Cloves Garlic (chopped)
1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning

Directions:
· Slice the ends off the beans, cut them in half, and then steam them about 6 minutes until crisp-tender.
· Cut up the tomatoes into bite-size pieces, saving the juice.
· Whisk together the olive oil, vinegar, and garlic.
· Mix the steamed beans and tomatoes, sprinkle the Italian seasoning over them, and then pour the oil mixture over the vegetables. Toss to coat.
